Premier League Mascots, Mostly Unthreatening
These vintage cigarette cards illustrate UK teams and cities with cute characters.
Sports mascots have been used for decades to market sports franchises and to entertain fans. These trading cards are vintage depictions of UK Premier League teams and mascots, and of course, they were used to sell cigarettes. But for me, I kind of like the unthreatening nature of these mascots to today's predatory animals that dominate U.S. sports.
The question I have: Can the Stoke City mascot play an entire match without spilling any tea?
